As a Global Technical Escalation Engineer at Agoda, you will be part of a dynamic team in Bangkok, contributing to the company's mission of bridging the world through travel. Your role will involve providing advanced technical support for Desktop and IT Infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and enhancing customer experience. Here's what you can expect:
**Role Overview:**
You will be the escalation point for 1st and 2nd level teams, providing in-depth troubleshooting for hardware and software issues such as BSOD and driver problems. Collaborating with other teams and vendors, you will manage devices through Enterprise systems management. Additionally, you will monitor and enhance the performance of Windows systems, conduct regular system checks, updates, and maintenance activities, and develop solutions to automate tasks and maintain user devices efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd level teams
- Provide in-depth troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
- Collaborate with other teams and vendors as needed
- Manage devices through Enterprise systems management
- Monitor Windows systems' health and performance
- Conduct regular system checks, updates, and maintenance tasks
- Develop and improve desktop monitoring systems
- Automate tasks and maintain user devices effectively
**Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering
- 5 years experience in supporting office, network, and desktop infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in mass computer deployment solutions and Enterprise systems management tools
- Knowledge of networking technology, various query languages, and scripting skills
- In-depth understanding of Windows/MacOS/Office in a corporate environment
