Role Overview:
You will be primarily responsible for supporting the design and development, maintenance, implementation, and validation of tech enhancements, automation modules, and models in financial crimes. Your role will also involve supporting the development and maintenance of metrics/reporting for Financial Crime risk measurement, which is crucial for the development of a strong global analytics function. You are expected to have proven experience in Financial Crime, data analytics, risk models, and creating intelligent solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with different specialized applications to pull data from databases & other sources and use software to identify patterns and trends in the information.
- Present data in charts, graphs, tables, design and develop relational databases for collecting data across the Bank, and build or design data input or data collection screens.
- Implement measures to contain compliance risk across the business area, including identifying gaps in risk models and approaches to mitigate.
- Deliver concrete analytical solutions to existing/new business problems using a combination of business understanding as well as advanced tech tools and techniques.
- Maintain strong business relations by establishing and maintaining a consistent dialog and relationship with Compliance process peers.
- Provide timely and relevant information through appropriate reporting mechanisms (scorecards, dashboards, monthly management meetings). Design rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas and automate reporting and controls.
- Work closely with CCOR officers and other stakeholders across all LOBs and Functions to collaborate and share information arising from process related activities and other initiatives (e.g., trends, systemic issues, control weaknesses).
- Execute special projects as assigned by CCOR management and leverage basic data exploration techniques to support routines measuring compliance to various laws, regulations, and guidelines. Design, build, and execute data quality controls that ensure completeness and accuracy on risk datasets and reports.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified graduate from a leading university with 3-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Risk and Compliance.
- Core Development skills with a technology stack of Python (Data Analytics and Automation), Alteryx (Data Transformation), and UiPath (Robotics Process Attended Automation).
- Experience in understanding the importance of Data Governance and Data Controls. Document Business Requirements and manage projects/programs end-to-end.
- Strong practical knowledge of analytical techniques and methodologies such as machine learning.
- Continuous improvement Mindset: Actively contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new ideas and perspectives that stretch the thinking of the group.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Effective executive summarization of complex business problems and solutions.
