Geographic Information System Developer

Role Overview: As a GIS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ESRI's ArcGIS platform. Your role will involve working with various web technologies to create interactive and user-friendly GIS applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ESRI's ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other web technologies. - Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience. - Integrate GIS data and services into web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. - Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high quality and performance. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web applications, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, GIS, or a related field. - 4-9 years of experience in web development, with a focus on ESRI ArcGIS. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ESRI's ArcGIS API for JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Typescript, Angular, Vue). - Relevant certifications such as ESRI Technical Certification are preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
