Generative AI Learning Content Specialist

As a Subject Matter Expert (Chemistry) at CK-12 in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging Grades 612 Science and Math content for learners and teachers using Generative AI tools. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating high-quality and engaging learning content for K-12 Science & Math aligned to Indian curricula, focusing on common misconceptions and clear scaffolding. - Utilizing GenAI tools to draft concept explanations, micro-lessons, worked examples, question banks, and assessments across various difficulty levels. - Developing Gen AI Content Playbooks: reusable prompt frameworks, content blueprints, templates, rubrics, and checklists to ensure consistent content generation at scale. - Prototyping and/or developing simple interactives and simulations to explain concepts effectively. - Reviewing and validating AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, clarity, grade-level suitability, and solution correctness, and enhancing playbooks based on feedback. - Collaborating with SMEs, designers, and engineers to integrate content and playbooks into production pipelines and tooling. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong familiarity with K12 Science and/or Math content. - Proven ability to create student-friendly explanations, examples, and practice to drive understanding. - Hands-on experience using generative AI for educational content creation. - Ability to build repeatable Generative AI Content Playbooks for scaling content production. - Comfort with coding to create basic learning interactives. - Strong written communication skills and attention to detail, particularly in math/science and solutions. Desired skills and qualifications may include experience with structured item writing, familiarity with tools like Markdown and LaTeX, and prior experience in ed-tech or curriculum publishing.
