As a Subject Matter Expert (Chemistry) at CK-12, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and high-quality learning content for K-12 Science & Math aligned to Indian curricula. Your expertise in curriculum understanding and hands-on use of Generative AI will be instrumental in producing explanations, worked examples, practice questions, and assessments. Key Responsibilities: - Create student-friendly content that incorporates common misconceptions and clear scaffolding for Grades 612 Science and Math. - Utilize GenAI tools to draft and iterate concept explanations, micro-lessons, worked examples, question banks, and assessments across various difficulty levels. - Develop Generative AI Content Playbooks, including reusable prompt frameworks, content blueprints, templates, rubrics, and checklists to ensure consistent content generation at scale. - Prototype simple interactives and simulations to make concepts intuitive and fun for learners. - Review and validate AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, clarity, grade-level suitability, and solution correctness, and enhance playbooks based on feedback. - Collaborate with SMEs, designers, and engineers to integrate content and playbooks into production pipelines and tooling. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong familiarity with K12 Science and/or Math content. - Proven ability to create engaging explanations, examples, and practice questions that promote understanding. - Hands-on experience in using generative AI for educational content creation and refinement. - Proficiency in creating repeatable Generative AI Content Playbooks to scale content production while ensuring quality. - Comfort with coding to develop basic learning interactives (e.g., JavaScript/HTML/CSS or Python). - Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail, especially in math/science and solutions.
