General Accounting Manager

As a General Accounting Manager at GlobalStep, you will play a crucial role in leading the global accounting function for 13+ entities across the US, UK, Europe, and India. Your responsibilities will include: - Owning and driving the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for all global entities - Finalizing statutory and management accounts in compliance with various GAAPs - Conducting regular reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness - Managing accruals, expense trends, and prepaid amortizations - Configuring and maintaining the ERP chart of accounts to support reporting needs - Ensuring adherence to transfer pricing regulations and managing intercompany transactions - Supervising cash flow forecasting, profitability estimates, and audits - Providing assistance in tax preparation and regulatory filings Key Requirements: - 1215 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in a global setting - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory - Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, transfer pricing, and ERP systems - Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities - Proficiency in MS Excel and communication skills for interaction with stakeholders What We Offer: - Competitive salary and perks package - Opportunity to be part of a brand-new team - Professional, fun, and supportive work environment GlobalStep is an equal opportunity workplace, committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of various factors.
