FTI Senior System Analyst

As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Technology team at Franklin Templeton, you will play a crucial role in building and operating the company's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and reporting platforms. Your responsibilities will include platform ownership, FP&A enablement, data & integration management, delivery & stakeholder partnership, as well as controls, governance & reliability. You will collaborate with Global Finance and Technology teams, utilizing modern Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance finance-tech expertise and influence enterprise outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer, configure, and enhance FP&A/EPM platforms (security, metadata, hierarchies, models, versions, validations). - Design and maintain planning and forecasting models within Adaptive Planning, supporting various functions. - Design & maintain reporting systems including Oracle Essbase and Power BI. - Build and support dashboards and management reports leveraging Workday Office Connect and Oracle Smart View. - Administer and support Business Intelligence platforms, including Power BI. - Partner with Finance and Technology teams to resolve data, application, and infrastructure issues. - Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or standardize FP&A processes through AI, system enhancements, data model optimization, or improved reporting and analytics. - Partner with ERP, HR, and data platform teams for data completeness, reconciliation, and variance analysis. - Work within an Agile delivery model, contributing to backlog prioritization, user stories, sprint execution, UAT, and releases. - Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and lead problem definition and solution design for complex FP&A use cases. - Design and operate FP&A technology solutions in alignment with SOX / IT General Controls. - Support financial close, forecast, and budget cycles with high system availability and performance. - Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support global users. - Proactively diagnose data quality, performance, or process issues within FP&A platforms. **Experience, Education & Certifications:** - 710 years in financial systems, FP&A technology, or EPM. - Strong partnership with Corporate Finance and FP&A teams. - Agile or iterative delivery experience. - Industry background in asset or wealth management is preferred. - Certifications: CA, CMA, CFA, MBA, or EPM vendor. **Technical Skills:** - Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable EPM tools. - Financial consolidation, cost allocation, and profitability modeling. - Power BI administration, data modeling, security, and maintenance. - Dashboard and report design for FP&A and operations. - Oracle Essbase and Tableau; SQL proficiency. - AI fluency with Copilot and workflow agents. - Workday Financials, ERP, HR systems; SOX and ITGC familiarity. **Soft Skills:** - Clear communicator across Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders. - Comfortable with global, cross-functional collaboration. - Self-directed, accountable, and team-oriented. - Strong problem solver with practical, balanced decision-making.
