Role Overview: As an Engineer Trainee in Cyber Security at ReBIT, you will be a part of a dynamic team with over 1000 professionals, working on active engagements with the Reserve Bank of India. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various centres of excellence focusing on technologies such as Forex, central banking, financial markets, risk monitoring, fintech, and more. Your role will involve being part of either the Cyber Security Operations or Cyber Security Engineering/GRC Business Units. Key Responsibilities: - Monitoring and protecting IT infrastructure, edge devices, networks, and data to prevent data breaches and react to attacks. - Supporting day-to-day support tasks in cyber security operations. - Performing basic documentation for infra security services and documenting SOPs and product reviews. - Conducting security configuration reviews and hardening using CIS benchmarks. - Defining hardening documents for firewalls, load balancers, WAF, IPS/IDS, NTA, etc. - Providing security compliance reports to management periodically for the infrastructure landscape. - Analyzing and evaluating open vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure. - Deploying, tuning, and maintaining security policies and enhancements on web application firewalls, load balancers, and infra devices. Qualifications Required: - University degree in the field of engineering and technology stream such as BE/BTech/MTech/MSc/MCA, preferably specializing in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, IT, or EXTC. - Pass out year: 2025 Batch ONLY. - Minimum 65% in 10th and 12th grades. - Work mode: Work From Office (5 Days). - Fundamental knowledge in Information Technology Infra and Cyber Security. - Knowledge of risk analysis, identification, resolution, and management. - Awareness of data security/privacy analysis and related practices. - Knowledge of computer hardware/software/programming, networking, and system/database administration. - Network security control knowledge including Firewalls, Proxy, LB, WAF, etc. - Basic knowledge of VPN, VAPT, AD, SOC, DLP, Antivirus, Mail Gateway, NAC, etc. - Basic knowledge of Application & API Security best practices and standards. - Understanding of secure coding practices, application security, IS and Cyber Security Audit Framework. - Excellent analytical skills and English written and verbal communication abilities.
