Job Description
As an SEO Manager at PlanetSpark, you will play a crucial role in creating, optimizing, and scaling high-intent content that ranks, engages, and converts. Your responsibilities include:
Setting the quality bar for the team by recruiting, briefing, coaching, and reviewing work from in-house and freelance writers, while enforcing brand voice, E-A-T, and SEO standards.
Piloting AI-driven tools for keyword clustering, SERP gap analysis, and content optimization to save time and maintain quality.
Implementing on-page SEO strategies such as optimizing titles, headers, internal links, schema, and creating compelling CTAs to drive demos and trials.
Collaborating with Product, Design, and Growth teams on product-led SEO initiatives, feature launches, and visual assets.
You are required to have:
47 years of experience in content management, editorial, or growth marketing for a high-growth SaaS, ed-tech, or B2C brand.
Demonstrable ability to translate keyword research and SERP analysis into clear editorial strategies.
Strong writing and editing skills, along with hands-on SEO knowledge including meta tags, schema, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals basics.
Experience with tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and basic spreadsheet or SQL skills for performance tracking.
Background in K-12 or adult learning domains, basic HTML/CMS familiarity (Webflow, WordPress, headless CMS), and exposure to prompt engineering, embeddings, or custom LLM fine-tuning.
