Job Description
As a Senior SAP System Administrator, your role involves overseeing end-to-end business process governance, master data governance, change governance, testing of enhancements/changes, and Reliance Data and Process Integration. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and developing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approve user authorizations for 70+ users, ensuring segregation of duties and implementing direct/mitigation plans for conflicts. Ensure Application Security Control, including risk assessment and SOX compliance.
- Manage the Monthly Financial Statement Close Process (FSCP), including GL accounting and analysis, month-end accruals, reviewing journal entries, and handling inter-company transactions.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation and substantiation tasks for Debtors/Creditors, Bank Reconciliations, and propose action plans for non-moving balances.
- Handle provisions such as Provision for doubtful debts/disputed debtor balances, Gratuity & Employee benefits, and accrue income based on year-end investments.
- Collaborate with Business Partners to ensure accurate accounting, month-end close in SAP System, and adherence to accounting policies and financial reporting standards.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's in Commerce (B.com) and Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Experience Required:
- 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in a multinational corporation or Big 4 firm, with expertise in working on SAP systems. In-depth knowledge of SAP Modules and processes is essential, with SAP S/4 HANA certification preferred.
