Job Description
As an Investment Banking Analyst at MidasCap Corporate Advisors, you will be at the heart of the action, working on live transactions from day one. Your role will involve engaging in complex financial transactions, collaborating with seasoned professionals, and contributing to high-impact client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build & Own Financial Models: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models (DCF, M&A accretion/dilution, three-statement forecasts) to evaluate transactions and guide client strategy.
- Drive Market & Company Analysis: Conduct deep-dive industry research, competitive benchmarking, and company profiling to identify opportunities and risks.
- Craft the Narrative: Prepare compelling pitch decks, information memoranda, and client presentations that tell a powerful growth story.
- Execute Flawlessly: Support all phases of transaction executionfrom initial due diligence and data room management to coordinating with legal, accounting, and regulatory advisors.
- Deliver Insights: Transform raw data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for both our internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- 13 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or similar roles, including internships.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with a meticulous approach to data analysis.
- Solid understanding of due diligence and transaction execution procedures.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
experience with databases such as Tracxn or Venture Intelligence is advantageous.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to excel in dynamic, team-oriented, and fast-paced environments.
