Field Solutions Architect Manager

As the Manager of the AI Field Solutions Architect (FSA) team at Google Cloud Platform, you will lead a team of AI/ML engineers in India who work on bridging the gap between AI products and production-grade reality for customers. Your role involves providing technical mentorship to your team, aligning with Product, Engineering, and Google Cloud Regional Sales leadership, and empowering the team to resolve production-level obstacles in customer environments. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will establish code standards, architectural procedures, and benchmarks to enhance engineering excellence across the team. You will collaborate with Sales and Tech Leadership to define requirements for opportunities, lead technical hiring for the Field Solutions Architect team, identify skill gaps in emerging tech, and work with Product and Engineering to resolve blockers and drive organizational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the technical lead, setting code standards and architectural procedures - Partner with Sales and Tech Leadership to define requirements for opportunities - Lead technical hiring for the Field Solutions Architect team - Identify skill gaps in emerging tech and maintain subject-matter expertise - Collaborate with Product and Engineering to resolve blockers and drive organizational efficiency **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience - 7 years of experience in cloud computing or a technical customer-facing role, with Python experience - 2 years of experience managing a software engineering team in a cloud computing environment - Experience developing AI solutions utilizing AI Tools and designing multi-agent workflows In addition, you will play a key role in understanding customer needs and shaping the future of businesses using technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.
