Experienced Data Analyst

You are an experienced Data Analyst with a strong expertise in subscription-based business models. Your role involves driving data-backed business decisions across multiple global markets and products. You will work closely with the business, marketing, and product teams to analyze large-scale datasets, evaluate performance, and uncover actionable insights impacting growth, retention, and profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze subscription business metrics including: - Retention & churn - Cohort analysis - LTV & ARPU - CPA & ROAS - Evaluate regional and product-level performance - Extract raw datasets from MySQL databases using SQL - Write scripts (Ruby, Python, or similar) to process and transform data - Analyze marketing performance, especially Google Ads campaigns - Provide data-driven insights to support business strategy and decision-making - Respond to ad-hoc queries with structured analysis - Identify patterns, trends, and growth opportunities - Build dashboards and reports using analytics tools - Collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness **Required Skills and Experience:** - 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in subscription or SaaS businesses - Strong expertise in SQL, data extraction & transformation - Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, or similar) - Deep understanding of cohort analysis, retention metrics, subscription revenue models, CPA, CAC, LTV - Experience analyzing Google Ads performance data - Strong analytical thinking with business acumen - Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment **Nice to Have:** - Experience working on a customer-facing live product with a large active user base - Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase, etc.) - Experience working alongside marketing performance teams This company offers a competitive pay package, a fully remote work environment, 5 working days per week, 30 days of paid leave annually, no forced bond agreements, genuine work/life balance, occasional company-sponsored team meetups, exposure to global teams, continuous learning, training, and strong growth opportunities.
