Job Description
As a Sales & Account Manager/Sr. Manager Acquisitions at our client, you will be tasked with generating net new business and expanding into new customers and geographies. This high-impact hunting role involves identifying opportunities, pursuing qualified leads, and closing strategic deals across a focused target account list. Your responsibilities will include driving new customer acquisition, building a strong pipeline, and positioning our client's cutting-edge communication and technology solutions to enterprise prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt and acquire new customers across assigned markets and geographies through exhaustive contact mapping, aggressive outreach, and continuous pipeline development.
- Qualify leads and drive them to closure, ensuring a smooth and successful sales cycle.
- Sell a defined subset of products or services directly or through partners to accounts within the provided target list.
- Collaborate with specialists (e.g., Sales Engineers) for demos and technical deep dives.
- Develop comprehensive solution proposals that address customer needs end-to-end.
- Manage the full sales process including forecasting, account strategy, resource planning, and execution.
- Present and articulate a strong value proposition to prospects and stakeholders.
- Lead pricing negotiations and contractual discussions to close deals.
- Maintain strong client relationships by working closely with Account Managers, Customer Success Engineers, and Inside Sales teams.
- Partner with BDR teams to seamlessly take over qualified leads.
- Support cross-sell opportunities for existing accounts, especially in complex or renegotiation scenarios.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in solution sales; SaaS sales experience is preferred in relevant scenarios.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and earning commissions.
- Strong ability to penetrate enterprise accounts and engage multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the CPaaS/communication technology landscape and competitors.
- Experience interacting with C-level executives.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
