Job Description
As an experienced Enterprise Sales Account Manager, your role involves driving revenue growth by managing strategic enterprise accounts and acquiring new large customers. Your success in this role will depend on your strong consultative selling approach, experience engaging CXO-level stakeholders, and ability to navigate complex and long sales cycles involving multiple decision makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow enterprise and large mid-market accounts within assigned territories or verticals
- Drive new business acquisition and increase wallet share within existing customers
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets related to revenue, pipeline, and margins
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Act as the primary point of contact for key enterprise customers
- Develop long-term account plans aligned with customer business objectives
- Manage renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention
- Position and sell enterprise technology solutions encompassing cloud, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, managed services, data center, and end-user computing
- Engage with key stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Heads, and procurement teams
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to design and close solutions
- Work closely with OEMs and channel partners on joint opportunities
- Manage deal registrations, pricing, and commercial negotiations
- Participate in joint customer meetings and partner engagements
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular pipeline reports
- Track competition, market trends, and customer insights
- Maintain CRM documentation and reporting hygiene
Skills Required:
- Strong consultative and solution selling capability
- Proven experience in selling complex enterprise IT solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zoho, or similar platforms
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business
- MBA in Sales or Marketing preferred
- 8 to 15 years of experience in enterprise or B2B IT sales
