Enterprise Network and Security Administrator

As a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Routing, Switching, and Firewall management, your role will involve supporting enterprise networks. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining LAN/WAN networks, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewall devices, implementing network security policies, and collaborating with ISPs and vendors for issue resolution. Additionally, you will handle incident management, participate in network upgrades, and ensure compliance with security standards. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN networks for high availability and SLA compliance - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewall devices - Implement and maintain network security policies, NAT, ACLs, and VPN configurations - Perform routing and switching operations including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, STP, HSRP, EtherChannel, and Inter-VLAN routing - Utilize network monitoring tools for proactive alerting and issue resolution - Collaborate with ISPs and vendors for troubleshooting and escalation - Handle incident management and ticketing ensuring timely resolution - Participate in network upgrades, patching, and hardware replacements - Maintain network documentation and ensure compliance with security standards Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and security - Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP - Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco FPR - Solid experience with LAN/WAN technologies, VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, HSRP, EtherChannel, Inter-VLAN routing - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting skills - Working knowledge of SD-WAN, MPLS, QoS, VPNs, NAT, DMZ - Experience with ticketing and ITSM tools - Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure Educational Qualification: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related field - CCNA mandatory; CCNP or firewall certifications preferred Nice-to-Have: - Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center, Meraki, Fortinet, or Checkpoint Firewalls - Experience with data center network operations and network automation tools - Exposure to security incident response and firewall rule auditing In this role, your key competencies will include strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with the team and customers while maintaining SLA adherence.
