Job Description
As a Quality Engineer at Stryker, your role involves ensuring compliance to Supplier Control activities identified by the organization. You will have hands-on experience with PPAP associated with New Product Launches and Management of Production cycles thereafter. Your responsibilities will include participating in cross-functional teams for the development of new products or changes related to current products, applying sound problem-solving methodologies like 5Why, DMAIC, 8D, C&E for identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues such as NC & CAPA. Additionally, you will conduct Supplier Audits (Product, Process & System), facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues, and evaluate Quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain. You will also coordinate Change Management & Control with Suppliers, promote continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (pFMEA), and review development protocols including IQ, OQ, PQ, Special Process Validations, and Test Method Validations.
Your qualifications should include a B.Tech (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical) with 2+ years of experience in Quality/Engineering/Manufacturing environment, preferably from the medical industry. Proficiency in advanced Power BI applications and ISO 9001/13485 certification is required. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of basic and advanced Quality tools such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Poke Yoke, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, etc. Strong communication skills are essential, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively at different levels of the organization. You should be able to structurally collect facts to base your opinions on and ensure flawless data integrity and traceability.
