**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As a Team Manager at Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC), you will lead a team of R&D engineers, specialists, and experts focused on creating and sustaining digital solutions, new products, and technology. Your role involves defining and implementing long-term and short-term strategies aligning with the overall organizational strategy to deliver the expected value from the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define, execute, and validate hardening guidelines for products like ethernet switches, PLCs, Linux PCs, Firewall, etc. Ensure compliance with MCSR, customer, standard, and regulatory requirements. - Develop, implement, and configure security control, networks, and solutions such as L3 and L7 firewalls. Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities. Prepare security and network architecture during product development. - Set up, maintain, monitor, and support laboratory networks and deployment tools including Ethernet Switches and Firewall. Configure, test, troubleshoot TCP/IP networks based on predefined research architecture. - Prepare cyber security-related documentation for product delivery. Act as an L4 support team member for security and network incident management process. Monitor, release third-party security patches, and maintain system reliability. - Monitor, enhance, and support Hitachi Energy provided cyber security and network solutions. Contribute to company risk review and ensure cybersecurity compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field. - Knowledge of system administration, networks, infrastructure, configuration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Understanding of Network Fundamentals and Network Security. - Strong understanding of cyber security standards, guidelines, and best practices. Familiarity with cyber security controls and protocols. - Experience in agile software development processes, security development lifecycle, system security, and network security. - Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience and familiarity with industrial switches. Experience with industrial data transfer protocols and technologies would be advantageous. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
