Electrical Assembly & Testing Technician

As an Electrical Assembly & Testing Technician at our company in Bangalore, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth electrical wiring, assembly, inspection, and testing of our products. Your main responsibilities include: - Performing wiring of harnesses, control panels, joysticks, and assemblies according to drawings - Interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams - Creating functional wiring diagrams for efficiency - Routing and terminating wires correctly with techniques like crimping, ferruling, lugging, and soldering - Ensuring the neatness, safety, and reliability of electrical assemblies by following defined standards and labeling practices You will also be responsible for: - Conducting electrical inspection and continuity testing of finished products - Verifying resistance values and performing functional and load testing - Troubleshooting wiring and functional failures to ensure zero defective electrical units are dispatched - Designing and fabricating basic testing kits and jigs to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual errors Moreover, you will be expected to: - Prepare test reports and maintain test records - Support calibration tracking of test instruments and compliance with CE / UL related electrical requirements - Identify recurring electrical failures, propose corrective actions, and improve wiring methods to reduce defects To excel in this role, you should possess skills such as strong schematic reading ability, practical troubleshooting skills, good understanding of electrical fundamentals, and ability to work under production pressure. Additionally, you should have a structured and disciplined approach to testing, problem-solving mindset, and hands-on practical thinking. Your work environment will be production-focused, mostly testing and inspection driven, with moderate wiring responsibility.
