Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for electrical maintenance as a Line Engineer, requiring strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety regulations. Your duties will include understanding electrical schematics, troubleshooting machines, managing tasks with teamwork, and having basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and standard electrical products. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot various PLC and CNC controllers, perform basic programming, conduct predictive maintenance, and respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly. Collaboration with contractors and vendors, recording daily activities, and maintaining accurate maintenance records will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will need to possess knowledge of IMS requirements, documentation, and perform root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and troubleshoot electrical schematics and machines
- Manage tasks with teamwork and collaborative skills
- Possess basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and standard electrical products
- Troubleshoot various PLC and CNC controllers
- Perform basic programming of PLC, HMI, and CNC controls
- Conduct predictive maintenance and respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs
- Record daily activities and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Possess knowledge of IMS requirements and documentation
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns
Qualifications Required:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety regulations
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and standard electrical products
- Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical servos and controls
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC controllers
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance, MTTR, MTBF, and critical maintenance KPIs
- Understanding of Kaizen, Poke Yoke, SMED, Work Instruction, Standard Works, and basic TPM concepts
- Capability to handle utility system operation and maintenance
- Proficiency in LOTOTO and Energy Isolation Procedure
