Elasticsearch Engineer

As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Designing multi-tier Elasticsearch architecture (hot/warm/cold/frozen) with ILM. - Architecting Active-Active/Passive HA and DR across production and disaster recovery data centers. - Defining and implementing observability standards, data schemas, naming conventions, and ILM policies per domain. - Developing and managing ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent. - Parsing and enriching structured/unstructured logs and implementing scalable and fault-tolerant pipelines. - Deploying and configuring Elastic APM agents for Java/.NET/Python services. - Ensuring end-to-end distributed tracing, span enrichment, and service dependency mapping. - Optimizing trace sampling, error logging, and business transaction visibility. - Designing an end-to-end observability solution using Elastic stack: log analytics, metrics, traces, APM, and ML. - Integrating machine learning for anomaly detection. - Overseeing the implementation of distributed tracing and service mapping to ensure every critical banking transaction can be traced end-to-end. - Driving adoption of observability standards such as SLOs/SLIs, tagging, and dashboards.
