EDA/CAD/CAE Licensing Software Architect

As a Licensing Software Architect at Keysight, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and components for software entitlement, monetization, and compliance. Your role will involve creating, integrating, or optimizing licensing architectures into product lifecycles, ensuring secure license enforcement, auditing, and seamless user experience while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and own the enterprise software architectural vision and long-term technology strategy focused on licensing and entitlement. - Define high-level architecture for licensing, entitlement, and activation systems, emphasizing security, scalability, and integration with existing software products. - Design, develop, and maintain software programs to support DES Licensing strategy. - Work on advanced licensing for all future software products using industry standards. - Influence and guide engineering teams to adopt new architectural patterns and foster engineering culture around API standards and code quality practices. - Work on Licensing integration for M&As Product Line, support current licensing in the clients product line, and define license metrics to ensure compliance. - Create documentation for licensing workflows and provide technical leadership for renewal and compliance teams. - Collaborate with other product architects, developers, product managers, and procurement to define requirements and deliver compliant software. Qualifications: - C++ object-oriented programming expertise, including modern C++ with cross-platform support. - Demonstrated experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, and modern development tooling. - Hands-on experience developing software using code assist tools. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of software licensing frameworks and tools, along with a keen interest in robust software architecture. - Experience with software security principles, scripting, application & UI frameworks, and software development tools/methodologies.
