Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, your role will involve drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating various types of contracts such as Master Services Agreements, Global Framework Agreements, Local Country Agreements, Statement of Work, Outsourcing, BPO Agreements, Software License Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontracting Agreements, Data Protection Agreements, Real Estate Agreements, and more. You will engage in direct negotiations with client supplier organizations and work closely with internal departments including business, finance, and delivery teams to ensure efficient contract closure by providing proactive and professional legal support. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing Request for Proposals, including those related to the public sector, and identifying legal and business risks while proposing mitigations. - Managing Intercompany agreements between various group companies. - Ensuring compliance with laws and company policies to support business operations. - Delivering high-quality work within deadlines. - Collaborating with local teams, Business Delivery, and supporting areas like Finance, Admin, Tax, and HR to advise on legal risks, business strategies, and other relevant issues. - Conducting your work with integrity and responsibility. - Staying updated on changes in legislation. - Participating in training and development activities and providing support and advice on matters related to Export Control, Intellectual Property, Information Technology, and Data Privacy. - Assessing and understanding the impact of new regulations on India Operations. - Managing a team by providing guidance, support, and grooming for their growth. Your qualifications should include: - Previous experience in drafting and negotiating various types of contracts. - Strong understanding of legal principles and business implications. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality results. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of Export Control, Intellectual Property, Information Technology, and Data Privacy laws.
