Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the instructional design process to develop engaging and user-centric learning content. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing various training materials such as e-learning modules, videos, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual ILT (vILT), guides, and job aids. - Ensuring that all training content aligns with adult learning principles, industry best practices, and company objectives. You will also be designing and delivering training programs focused on SaaS platform integration, API usage, and customization workflows. Your tasks will involve: - Translating complex technical concepts into clear learning solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborating with product and engineering teams to stay updated on platform updates and best practices. As a leader, you will manage and mentor a team of instructional designers, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables. Additionally, you will: - Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to assess training needs and define learning objectives. - Collaborate with various teams such as customer success, product management, and marketing to align training with customer journeys. In terms of technology and tools, you will be required to: - Utilize authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar to create e-learning modules. - Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to effectively manage and distribute content. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improving learning content. This will involve: - Incorporating customer insights and real-world use cases into training content to meet both business and customer needs. - Utilizing an agile instructional design approach to quickly adapt training content based on evolving product features and customer feedback. Your qualifications for this role should include: - A Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (Masters preferred). - 9+ years of experience in instructional design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Proven experience in creating training for SaaS platforms, particularly in integration and API-based workflows. - Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies. - Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), video editing tools, and graphic design software. - Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant content.
