Role Overview: You will play a crucial leadership role that significantly influences how every product, customer, and partner interacts with Kaseya. Your responsibilities will involve developing and implementing the strategy for Kaseya's unified intelligence experience and customer data platform. Your main task will be to establish a centralized data platform that empowers insights, automation, and personalization throughout Kaseya's product range and key cross-product workflows. This platform will enable Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their customers to make data-driven decisions at scale. Your role necessitates defining and executing a vision for leveraging customer data, telemetry, and AI/ML to create competitive advantages, enhance customer experiences, and unlock new revenue opportunities. You will need deep technical expertise in data platforms, APIs, analytics, and AI/ML, as well as strategic product thinking and collaboration across various functions. Collaboration with product, security, legal, sales, and marketing teams will be essential in establishing foundational capabilities that enhance the entire platform. Key Responsibilities: - Define, shape, and clearly communicate the long-term Data, API & AI Strategy, vision, and roadmap. - Develop and scale Data, API, and AI capabilities as core product differentiators. - Provide thought leadership in designing, architecting, and executing the platform ecosystem for optimal performance, scalability, cost efficiency, and reliability. - Set standards for engineering culture, promote best practices, hold teams accountable, and enhance processes. - Ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM), and Trust. - Lead platform modernization efforts to reduce technical debt and accelerate innovation velocity. - Establish clear commercial and technical KPIs across a diverse portfolio. - Contribute to shaping the future of Kaseya's platform strategy and collaborate with open-source software creators like Argo. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, API and Identity platform, platform engineering, or related fields, with specialization in designing and constructing distributed data systems and applied AI. - Demonstrated leadership experience (preferably in a prior Director level role) in building and managing high-performing global engineering teams that balance short-term execution with long-term strategic growth. - Extensive background in building and expanding cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data, API, and AI platforms, emphasizing high availability, fault tolerance, and cost-efficiency. - Proven track record in evolving data and AI platforms to meet the demands of a fast-growing business, ensuring data-driven decisions at all organizational levels. - Strong strategic acumen to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions that deliver value organization-wide.
