Job Description

As a Digital Marketing-Content Strategist, you will play a crucial role in driving the content marketing initiatives of the company. Your responsibilities include: - **Content Strategy**: - Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with business and marketing goals. - Research industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities. - Plan and repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form formats. - **Content Creation**: - Write blogs, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, and social media posts. - Craft LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X threads, Quora/Reddit answers, and other community content. - Collaborate with designers and video editors to create visual and video-supported content. - Ensure content follows the brand voice, tone, and style guidelines. - **SEO & Optimization**: - Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines. - Write meta titles, descriptions, and on-page SEO elements. - Track performance of content through analytics and refine strategy. - **Cross-Platform Coordination**: - Work closely with the Social Media Manager to distribute content across various platforms. - Support the Email Marketing Specialist with newsletter copy. - Collaborate with the SEO Specialist to ensure content aligns with ranking goals. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. - 2 to 4 years of proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or content strategy. - Strong command of English grammar, storytelling, and persuasive writing. - Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner. - Ability to write for different formats: long-form (blogs, guides) and short-form (social media, ads, email copy). - Strong research and analytical skills. - Basic knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Medium, etc.). - Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency. In addition, it is preferred that you have experience in B2B content marketing or technology/IT industries, knowledge of email marketing tools, familiarity with graphic design tools, and experience in repurposing content into scripts for video or podcasts. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include an increase in organic traffic to website/blogs, growth in social media engagement, higher search rankings for targeted keywords, improved email open and click-through rates, and consistent execution of content calendar deadlines.
