Job Description
As a Digital Content Writer at Gallagher, you will play a crucial role in creating dynamic digital experiences that drive leads to Gallagher websites through compelling, optimized written content. You will be part of the global digital experience team working towards unifying global and regional business units and practices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating content with SEO in mind for multiple brands, catering to digital audiences ranging from individuals to global enterprises while incorporating empathy in your writing.
- Conducting thorough research on subjects through internal interviews, competitive research, and gathering necessary information to develop content.
- Utilizing analytics to make data-informed decisions about content and page flow.
- Collaborating with global stakeholders (Marketing and Sales) to manage expectations and bring B2B and B2B2C writing expertise to various content projects.
- Adapting tone and voice to brand guidelines, maintaining flexibility and organization to handle multiple projects simultaneously for US and UK audiences.
- Writing and editing compelling content for digital properties, including new global and existing websites, using SEO best practices to engage audiences and drive leads.
- Planning and initiating content by conducting research, gathering information, developing content briefs, and working on day-to-day requests from stakeholders.
- Ensuring proper tone of voice and styles for each brand, understanding design and functionality behind content to serve the audience and drive leads effectively.
- Collaborating with global web team, design, SEO, UX Research, and Marketing leads to improve content processes and tools.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or minimum of 5 years of experience working with digital marketing teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (US and UK) with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Prior experience as a content developer within B2B/insurance and risk management is a plus.
- Expertise in developing digital-first content for global websites and collaborating with digital teams and marketing/sales stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Figma, Smartsheets, Trello, and Workfront, with knowledge of Marketing Cloud, Usertesting.com, Hotjar, and Qualtrics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at different phases with global regions and drive engagement and conversion leveraging data and business goals.
