As a DevOps Manager at Anblicks, you will be responsible for leading DevOps and automation initiatives supporting cloud modernization and large-scale data platform programs. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence across cloud-native and big data environments. The ideal candidate will have technical depth, people leadership skills, and the ability to translate business priorities into scalable DevOps delivery frameworks. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Team Leadership & Talent Development** - Lead and mentor a DevOps and automation team (815 engineers). - Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence. - Support hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies. - Provide structured coaching and career development guidance. - Champion modern DevOps best practices across teams. 2. **DevOps Strategy & Execution** - Drive implementation of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and orchestration practices. - Standardize DevOps tooling, workflows, and automation patterns across product teams. - Build and maintain reliable deployment pipelines for data processing systems. - Ensure scalable automation frameworks for big data workloads. - Promote Git workflows, branching strategies, and code governance standards. 3. **Cloud & Infrastructure Management** - Oversee cloud infrastructure operations across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments. - Manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices. - Lead Kubernetes cluster management, networking, scaling, and security. - Drive cost optimization, monitoring, and operational hygiene initiatives. - Ensure disaster recovery preparedness and business continuity readiness. 4. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Partner with Platform Engineering, SRE, Data Engineering, ML, and Security teams. - Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives including security scanning and compliance enforcement. - Translate technical requirements into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans. - Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement in operational health and deployment velocity. 5. **Reliability & Observability** - Implement monitoring and observability frameworks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. - Participate in incident response and postmortem reviews. - Develop and maintain operational runbooks and knowledge-sharing practices. **Required Qualifications:** - 8+ years of overall technology experience with 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles. - 2+ years of experience leading DevOps teams (5+ engineers). - Experience working in distributed or offshore team models. - Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD platforms, and Git workflows. - Cloud platform experience with AWS and GCP. - Experience in distributed computing or big data processing environments. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications in AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc. - Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark or Databricks. - Experience with GitOps tools and DevSecOps practices. - Background in data-intensive, analytics-driven, or enterprise modernization programs. **What Will Set You Apart:** - Experience leading DevOps transformations in large-scale cloud migrations. - Ability to balance hands-on technical work with people leadership. - Experience building DevOps practices for data-heavy environments. - Ability to scale automation frameworks across multiple product teams. - Strategic mindset combined with execution rigor.
