Design Manager (Revit / AutoCAD)

Role Overview: At Gensler, as a Design Director for the Commercial Office/Residential/Mixed-Use Office Building practice areas, you will lead design teams, develop next-generation talent, and help clients redesign what's possible. Your role involves providing creative and design process leadership to multiple design teams through all phases of client projects. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and provide mentorship to design teams. - Lead the creative efforts on client architecture projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies. - Orchestrate and strategize design presentations. - Collaborate with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance design excellence and achieve recognition for clients and the firm. - Improve the quality of work, delivery process, and design attainment. - Build and nurture relationships with a broad client base. - Participate in business development and marketing efforts. - Act as the primary design interface with clients, team members, consultants, and collaborators. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program (Masters preferred). - 18+ years of related experience with a strong background in commercial office building projects. - International project experience of more than 8 years is a plus. - Strong understanding of master planning concepts and expertise in site planning. - Leadership experience in managing client expectations, multi-disciplinary teams, and project scopes. - Knowledge of sustainable design principles, sustainable building practices, and rating systems accreditation. - Portfolio showcasing sustainable design focus. - Experience with Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, BIM360, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
