Delivery Manager

As a young dynamic leader in Project Management for software development and delivery, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Manage projects and related activities aligning with the organization's mission and goals. - Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle. - Accountable for managing product development and service delivery. - Manage project cost as per defined budget. - Perform auditing by external body for project milestones achievement and costing. - Work closely with various teams to ensure on-time delivery of quality products. - Continuously monitor project progress, conduct risk assessment, and have a mitigation plan in place. - Lead development team in requirements analysis, features scoping, and backlog scheduling. - Accurately project efforts, resource requirements, risks, and constraints in project management activities. - Implement standards and best practices for software development and ensure process compliance. - Train and mentor the development team, monitoring their performance throughout the project. - Ensure resources, capabilities, and capacity meet business demands. - Provide problem management support for high profile customer issues and ensure corrective action plans. - Demonstrate strong project management skills and willingness to handle various project sizes. - Engage with customers and stakeholders, building confidence, trust, and ensuring project progress. - Stay connected with the product market and provide technical and functional leadership in software development. - Support the professional goals and development opportunities for the engineering staff. - Bring a positive attitude, be a team player, and show willingness to travel extensively. - Support Sales/Pre-sales team for product selling. Your technical knowledge should include: - Strong understanding and application of project management methodologies in software delivery. - Good understanding of project objectives. - Ability to work positively with various individuals involved in project management. - Strong leadership and management skills. - Knowledge in budgeting, resource allocation procedures, and innovative problem-solving. Qualifications and Skillset required: - 8 years of experience in software product/project delivery. - Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management. - Experience in building software systems in Telecommunications industry and/or GIS platform preferred. - Proven team and product leadership skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Post-Graduate/Graduate in a related field. - Good understanding of software project management, processes, and methodologies. - Experience in mentoring and managing technical teams. - Strong analytical, grasping, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
