Job Description
As an Associate/Senior Associate in the Deal Advisory practice, your role will involve executing various aspects of the financial due diligence process. You will work with a multi-disciplined team and learn from industry leaders, supporting clients in navigating strategic transactions within the lower middle market segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments, including analyzing DSO, DPO, ROI, IDO, and other key metrics.
- Lead financial due diligence efforts, analyzing proof of cash, revenue, and expenses.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to evaluate opportunities, develop financial models, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare clear reports, presentations, and financial models to communicate findings effectively to clients and senior management.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.
- Identify key issues, perform financial analysis, interpret results, and report findings.
- Collect data from various sources, check data quality, and prepare standard data sets for deal engagement processes.
- Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies, evaluate quality of earnings and net assets, and identify risks.
- Assess working capital requirements, US GAAP departures, and challenge assumptions related to future financial projections.
- Identify post-closing matters for profitability and cash flow improvements.
- Interact with personnel of target companies and clients, and prepare due diligence reports outlining analyses and findings.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing professional services environment.
- Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work on highly analytical tasks.
- CA/CMA/CFA qualified or pursuing.
- Excellent MS Excel skills with keen attention to detail and analytical abilities.
