Data Steward/Data Governance Engineer

As a Data Steward (Data Governance) at our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of data through effective governance practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying your knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management principles, and data quality concepts to ensure data integrity. - Utilizing data profiling, mapping, cleansing, and analysis techniques using tools such as Excel and SQL. - Demonstrating strong data analysis skills to identify data quality issues, risks, root causes, and correlating them with data specifications to provide recommendations for remediation plans. - Collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders by leveraging exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Thriving in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing tasks and adapting to evolving data management requirements. - Utilizing your strong communication, project management, writing, and presentation skills to drive successful data governance initiatives. - Demonstrating a good understanding of the CPG/Retail industry and products, which would be preferable for this role. - Having experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra, Axon, IDQ, Informatica, Alation, or Ataccama would be advantageous. - Basic proficiency in Databricks and Azure Cloud fundamentals would be considered an added advantage.
