Job Description
As an AI-ML Data Scientist at our company, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications. Your role will involve owning ML problem framing from business requirements to production rollout and architecting scalable ML pipelines for large-volume, near-real-time telecom data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, including LLMs and Generative AI applications
- Own ML problem framing from business requirements to production rollout
- Architect scalable ML pipelines for large-volume, near-real-time telecom data
- Drive experimentation culture through A/B testing, uplift modeling, and causal analysis
- Mentor and technically guide data scientists and ML engineers
- Collaborate with platform, infra, and product teams on ML integration
- Establish best practices for responsible AI development and deployment
- Define best practices for feature engineering, model monitoring, retraining, drift detection, and responsible AI and regulatory compliance
Qualifications Required:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience as an AI-ML Data Scientist
- Strong expertise in traditional machine learning/Deep learning frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Sklearn
- Proven experience in data preparation, including advanced data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, data quality assessment, and improvement
- Proficiency in data exploration tools like Pandas, Numpy, and Polars
- Strong programming skills in Python; knowledge of R is a plus
- Deep understanding of statistics, probability, ML/DL algorithms, and AI governance
- Experience with large-scale data processing, model deployment, MLOps, and cost optimization for AI systems
- Track record of at least 5 successful AI/ML projects in production
- Excellent communication skills and team leadership ability
- Continuous learning mindset for emerging AI technologies
