Job Description
As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and governing the delivery of the Domain Data Architecture to ensure it aligns with the design.
- Ensuring consistency in data modeling approaches across different solutions within the domain.
- Designing and overseeing the delivery of data integration across the domain's solutions.
In order to excel in this role, you should have expertise in the following areas:
- Methodology expertise in data architecture and modeling, translating business requirements and functional specifications into data models.
- Data warehousing and Business Intelligence data products modeling using Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault, and Codd modeling patterns.
- Business and functional knowledge of the domain, including understanding business terminology, processes, key principles, objectives, trends, and evolution.
- Awareness of master data management and data stewardship processes.
- Knowledge of data persistency technologies such as SQL (Ansi-2003 for relational data querying & Ansi-2023 for XML, JSON, Property Graph querying), Snowflake specificities, database structures for performance optimization, and awareness of other NoSQL data persistency technologies.
- Proficiency in Business English and technical writing.
- Nice to have: Experience or knowledge of project delivery through agile approaches and methodologies like Scrum, Secure 5.0, and Product-based organization.
In terms of Technical Stack expertise, you should be familiar with:
- SAP Power Designer modeling (CDM, LDM, PDM) or Erwin.
- Snowflake General Concepts, specifically DDL & DML, Snow Sight, and Data Exchange/Data Sharing concepts.
- AWS S3 & Athena (as a query user).
- Confluence & Jira (as a contributing user).
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Bitbucket (as a basic user).
