Data Engineer

By actively participating in the data engineering community, you will contribute to the bank's strategic direction while expanding your network within the organization. This position is at an associate level. Key Responsibilities: - Drive value for customers by building data solutions - Perform data engineering tasks to build, maintain, test, and optimize a scalable data architecture - Extract, transform, and load data to make it usable for data analysts and scientists - Develop a deep understanding of the bank's data structures and metrics to advocate for necessary changes - Practice DevOps adoption in data engineering delivery, conducting root cause analysis and issue resolution - Collaborate with core technology and architecture teams to build data knowledge and solutions - Understand data platform cost levers to create cost-effective solutions - Source new data using appropriate tools and integrate it into solutions for customers Qualifications Required: - Minimum three years of experience in Scala, Spark, Kafka, Kafka streaming, and managing large and complex data structures through ETL - Knowledge of Quantexa or Quantexa Certified Elastic Search - Experience in ETL technical design, data quality testing, cleansing, monitoring, data warehousing, and data modeling - Proficiency in programming languages and understanding of data and software engineering fundamentals - Good knowledge of modern code development practices - Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders proactively Role Overview: You are being offered an exciting opportunity to join as a Data Engineer in India.
