Data Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end applications, exploring data, creating data pipelines, designing APIs, and optimizing model latency. Your main responsibilities will include: - Utilizing Apache Spark along with Scala, Java, or Kotlin for developing machine learning solutions - Working with Scala language in conjunction with Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and SQL - Deploying Machine Learning algorithms into production environments and ensuring model and system monitoring and troubleshooting - Proficiently programming in Java, Scala, and/or Python - Demonstrating a strong understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, and Spark - Applying data analysis techniques including data cleaning, preprocessing, and visualization - Collaborating effectively with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into scalable machine learning solutions - Communicating clearly through data-driven stories using appropriate visualizations, graphs, and narratives - Being self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines - Working as a motivated team player who can effectively collaborate across a global team Qualifications required for this role include: - A 4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience - An MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or relevant work experience - 6+ years of experience in application development, data exploration, data pipelining, API design, and model latency optimization If you possess excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a global team, this opportunity is tailored for you.
