Role Overview:
Joining Crowe's Consulting Financial Services practice offers you the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team dedicated to serving clients and the community. From day one, you will play a crucial role in helping clients enhance their governance, integrate risk into decision-making processes, and equip them with actionable insights to strengthen their operations. You will operate in an entrepreneurial and innovative environment, delivering transformative consulting services and honing specialized skill sets that are highly sought after in today's market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional leadership on data-centric projects within the Financial Crime consulting practice
- Manage all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, data mapping, ETL development, and project execution
- Conduct data analysis, data integration, and data visualization projects for financial services institutions
- Utilize foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, data modeling, and data analytics to solve complex problems
- Write SQL queries for performing database operations, focusing on performance tuning and stored procedures
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Work on data projects related to data quality assessments, data governance, data strategy, requirements scoping, fit-gap analysis, and data warehouse architecture design and implementation
- Collaborate as a business analyst to develop business requirements, source-to-target mapping, and user testing scripts
- Implement full life-cycle data management projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are appropriately delegated
- Effectively manage client expectations and work with cross-functional teams
- Preferred experience working at a technology/BI consulting services firm for banking clients
- Preferred experience with core banking platforms, data mapping, and ETL engagements for Anti-Money Laundering/Transaction monitoring system implementations, CRM, credit and customer data management, and master data management projects
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leaders
Qualifications Required:
- Experience in data analysis, ETL development, and data visualization projects within financial services institutions
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for complex database operations and performance tuning
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Experience in data projects such as data quality assessments, data governance, and data warehouse architecture design
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and delegate tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leaders
