Job Description
As a leading advisory firm, you will work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses, identifying and managing financial and operational risks within their business systems to ensure technology risks are effectively managed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic business advice to clients by implementing new processes and controls to address key risks based on knowledge of their operations, processes, and business objectives.
- Assessing, managing, and optimizing information technology risk in areas such as cybersecurity, IT strategy, governance, compliance, and business continuity.
- Reviewing clients' processes and controls against industry frameworks, identifying gaps in design and execution, and communicating issues and recommendations.
- Assisting in the development and execution of audit programs and IT control assessments in key areas like IT strategy, operations, business continuity, cybersecurity, third-party risk, ITGC, application controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Drafting comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for clients, ensuring engagement work papers are documented and reviewed in line with industry-accepted internal audit methodologies.
- Acting as a trusted business advisor, building strong client relationships, and providing superior client service through effective communication.
- Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and development, pursuing internal and external education, training, and cross-training opportunities to enhance personal skills and contribute to organizational goals.
- Utilizing entrepreneurial skills to build strong internal and external relationships and maintaining a healthy work-life balance through team activities and social events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum 3 years experience with IT audit or cybersecurity, previous experience performing SOX and SOC audits
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA
- Experience as a client serving professional for a consulting firm desired
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Ability to travel for work and work on additional projects as needed
