Job Description
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at our company, your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing enterprise security solutions. You will work closely with the infrastructure and security teams to ensure a secure and scalable workplace. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or administration and possess strong expertise in Zero Trust technologies, firewall and WAF management, network security, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Zero Trust security solutions such as Zscaler, Akamai WAF, Checkpoint FW, Illumio, etc.
- Design and maintain Firewall, WAF, and network segmentation policies.
- Automate security configurations using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot security incidents in complex environments.
- Perform traffic analysis, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security posture.
Qualifications Required:
- 5-9 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Firewall, WAF, and Zero Trust solutions.
- Experience with automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform.
- Good understanding of network security, access control, and hardening.
- Experience with security monitoring tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, or Netflow.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Additional Company Details:
The company encourages cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), exposure to Kubernetes/container security, and knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
