Cyber Security Engineer

You are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join the team at In Time Tec. Your role will involve protecting the organization's data, systems, and networks. You should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with firewall management and OWASP. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for data, systems, and networks. - Troubleshoot security and network problems. - Respond to all system and/or network security breaches. - Ensure data and infrastructure protection by enabling appropriate security controls. - Participate in the change management process. - Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities. - Conduct hands-on security testing, analyze results, document risks, and recommend countermeasures. - Research, evaluate, and develop relevant Security Testing tools and methods. **Qualifications / Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on firewall management and OWASP. - Strong understanding of application and infrastructure vulnerabilities, automated/manual testing, auditing, and remediation techniques. - Proficiency in using standard security tools such as Metasploit, SQLMap, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, and Burp Suite. - Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365, and Endpoint Security. - Strong understanding of cryptography and experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics. **Preferred Skills / Attributes:** - Experience with server and client-side application development. - Experience with performing code review, wireless and firewall assessments. - Technical knowledge in network security products, cryptographic suites, and network/application firewalls. - Experience in evasion techniques to bypass firewalls and intrusion detection systems. - Security Certifications: OSCP, OSEE, OSCE (a plus).
