Job Description
As a Cyber Security Analyst at Barclays, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to ensure unparalleled customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of Information Security and Data Leakage.
- Ability to effectively identify and manage Cyber Information Risk.
- Support DLP exception governance and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, or Security Operations.
Highly Valued Skills:
- Experience identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Identify, assess, and manage cyber risks across business units.
- Experience using SIEM tools to identify, examine, and triage cyber incidents.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their security requirements in business processes and IT projects to enhance overall risk management. You will execute risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential cybersecurity threats, guide the implementation of mitigation strategies, and communicate findings to relevant senior stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate with business units to develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned to the risk management framework.
You will also be responsible for managing the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across the banks' IT systems, executing training content and sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity awareness, and managing complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts.
Qualifications Required:
- Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating team resources.
- Impact on the work of related teams within the area, partner with other functions and business areas.
- Takes responsibility for end results of a team's operational processing and activities, escalate breaches of policies/procedures appropriately.
