Job Description

As a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) in the Construction Industry based in Chennai, your role will involve managing customer relationships and overseeing all commercial documentation, such as bank guarantees (BG), e-invoices, e-way bills, and collections. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely payments and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Handle customer queries, coordination, and relationship management for both ongoing and new construction projects. - Coordinate the end-to-end process for Bank Guarantees (BG), including application, documentation, follow-up, renewals, and closure with both banks and clients. - Prepare, verify, and manage e-invoices and e-way bills in compliance with GST requirements. - Monitor outstanding payments, follow up for collections, and escalate any delays as necessary. - Resolve billing and documentation issues by employing effective problem-solving skills and coordinating with internal teams such as projects, accounts, and site teams. - Maintain accurate records and Management Information System (MIS) for Bank Guarantees, e-invoices, e-way bills, and collections. Candidate Profile: - A Graduate with 25 years of experience in CRM/commercial coordination, preferably within the construction/infra industry. - Demonstrated hands-on experience in BG documentation, e-invoicing, e-way bill generation, and collections. - Possess a strong problem-solving ability and an ownership mindset. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language. - Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to ERP/CRM systems would be considered an added advantage.
