Curriculum Architect Technology Education

As a Curriculum Architect at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and scaling engaging, hands-on technology education programs. Your innovative approach and strong background in areas such as robotics, woodworking, mechatronics, aeromodelling, space science, and makerspaces will be key to creating future-ready STEM programs for K12, higher education, and vocational learners. Key Responsibilities: - Curriculum Design & Development - Design structured, age-appropriate curriculum frameworks for: - Robotics & Automation - Woodworking & Fabrication - Mechatronics - Aeromodelling & UAV fundamentals - Space science & aerospace basics - Makerspace innovation programs - Create scope & sequence documents, lesson plans, assessments, rubrics, and capstone projects. - Align curriculum with national/international standards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, NGSS, etc., if applicable). - Integrate interdisciplinary learning (STEM/STEAM approach). - Hands-on Learning Frameworks - Develop project-based learning (PBL) modules. - Design build challenges, innovation labs, and prototype-driven learning experiences. - Create student progression pathways (Beginner Intermediate Advanced). - Content & Resource Creation - Develop: - Instructor manuals - Student workbooks - Activity sheets - Digital content & multimedia assets - Assessment frameworks - Recommend tools, kits, machinery, and lab setup requirements. - Teacher Training & Implementation Support - Train educators and facilitators on curriculum delivery. - Conduct workshops and train-the-trainer programs. - Support pilot implementations and refine based on feedback. - Research & Innovation - Stay updated on emerging trends in: - Educational robotics - AI & automation in schools - Space tech education - Maker education models - Benchmark global best practices. - Continuously improve curriculum using data and feedback. - Safety & Compliance - Develop safety SOPs for woodworking tools, robotics labs, and fabrication spaces. - Ensure compliance with school and regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters degree in: - Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Robotics / Aerospace / Industrial Design / STEM Education - 5+ years of experience in: - Curriculum development for hands-on technology programs - Makerspace or lab-based education - Demonstrated experience building structured technology learning pathways. - Strong understanding of: - Electronics, sensors, motors, microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) - Basic fabrication tools & woodworking equipment - CAD tools (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience setting up school makerspaces or innovation labs. - Experience working with K12 institutions or EdTech organizations. - Exposure to aeromodelling, UAV systems, or space learning modules. - Certification in instructional design or STEM education.
