Job Description

Role Overview: Corporate and Investment Banking at DBS provides a range of commercial banking products and services to corporate customers, including cash management, trade finance, and foreign exchange. The job purpose is to support Relationship Management teams by assisting in activities such as preparing credit memos, completing documentation formalities, and managing client portfolios. The key accountability includes preparing credit proposals, maintaining relationships with business units, and monitoring portfolios for irregularities. The job duties involve preparing spreadsheets, providing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with risk management guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Support Relationship Management teams by preparing credit memos, completing documentation formalities, and assisting in legal & valuation reports - Manage existing client portfolios and explore opportunities for cross-selling transaction banking products - Prepare credit proposals in a consistent and concise manner - Maintain a close working relationship with Business Unit to ensure deliverables are met - Conduct need-based meetings with customers to understand business and risks - Cross-sell other products such as trade, cash, and foreign exchange - Monitor portfolios for irregularities, breaches, and delays - Ensure regulatory reporting and compliances are enforced - Assist in recoveries, minimize bad debts, and support audits - Monitor customer satisfaction levels and complaints - Communicate key messages to customers and ensure adherence to service standards Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of sales experience in business banking and/or cash management - Knowledge of competitors and marketplace - Market knowledge and experience in the Mid-market / SME segment - MBA or CA with experience in selling asset products in the Mid-Market Banking segment - Good written and verbal communication skills - Analytical skills and self-driven with the ability to handle pressure - Understanding of competitor products and regulatory guidelines - Knowledge of financial markets, products, and competitor offerings - Understanding of KYC requirements and Anti-money Laundering Policies Company Details: DBS is committed to building a culture of inclusivity and continuous professional development.
