Cost Controller

As a Cost Controller at TantranZm, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project and operational costs to ensure financial performance aligns with budgets and corporate objectives. Your responsibilities will include: - **Project & Financial Control**: - Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and cost forecasts. - Track project expenditures, labor hours, and resource utilization. - Prepare monthly project cost reports and variance analyses. - Validate cost allocations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions. - **Reporting & Analysis**: - Produce dashboards summarizing financial performance, cost trends, and profitability. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions. - Support financial reviews with timely, accurate cost data. - Contribute to revenue recognition processes. - **Governance & Compliance**: - Ensure adherence to internal cost accounting standards and policies. - Support audits by preparing documentation and financial reconciliations. - Partner with finance, operations, and project delivery teams for cost control governance. - **Process Improvement**: - Streamline cost control processes through automation or tool enhancements. - Support continuous improvement of project cost estimation and budgeting methodologies. **Qualifications**: **Required**: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. - 7+ years of experience as a Cost Controller, Financial Analyst, or Project Controller. - Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar). - Strong understanding of project accounting, cost allocation, and revenue recognition. - Attention to detail and ability to communicate complex financial data clearly. **Preferred**: - Professional certification (CMA, CPA, CIMA). - Experience with budgeting and cost control in multiple currencies or global operations. - Familiarity with business intelligence/reporting tools.
