Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for credit underwriting, financial analysis, and preparation of detailed credit appraisal notes to support lending decisions for large corporate and infrastructure clients. Your role will involve conducting detailed credit underwriting, analyzing financial statements, assessing industry dynamics, structuring credit facilities, and monitoring portfolio performance. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed credit underwriting and financial analysis for Large Corporate and Infrastructure clients. - Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal notes, risk assessment reports, and credit proposals. - Analyze financial statements, cash flows, balance sheets, and project financials to evaluate creditworthiness. - Assess industry dynamics, project risks, and business models, particularly within the infrastructure sector. - Structure and evaluate credit facilities, loan terms, covenants, and security structures. - Work closely with business teams to understand client requirements and structure lending proposals accordingly. - Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals and potential credit risks. - Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk frameworks. Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory Additional Details: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in credit underwriting, credit analysis, and preparation of credit appraisal notes. Experience covering Large Corporates and/or Infrastructure credit is preferred. You should possess strong expertise in financial statement analysis, project finance evaluation, and corporate lending structures. Prior exposure to credit risk assessment in banking or financial institutions would be advantageous.
