Role Overview:
You will be joining ViralMint Media Private Limited, a performance-driven digital marketing agency that specializes in scaling e-commerce brands through data-backed strategies. As the Content Head for the E-commerce segment, you will play a crucial role in leading the content vision and execution to drive high-impact storytelling that converts, engages, and retains customers for multiple e-commerce brands. This full-time role is based in Pune and requires a blend of creativity, leadership, analytical thinking, and deep understanding of digital and e-commerce content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand, marketing, and business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a team of content writers, editors, and freelancers.
- Supervise content production for various platforms such as websites, product pages, blogs, ads, emailers, social media, and marketplaces.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice across all platforms and clients.
- Create and manage editorial calendars, content pipelines, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with performance marketing, design, SEO, and account management teams.
- Optimize content based on performance data, conversion metrics, and audience insights.
- Ensure adherence to SEO, CRO, and platform-specific best practices in content creation.
- Review, edit, and approve high-quality content before publication.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content strategy, content leadership, or editorial roles within the e-commerce industry.
- Preference for strong experience in e-commerce, D2C, or digital marketing agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in writing, editing, and storytelling with a strong understanding of SEO, performance marketing content, and conversion-focused writing.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
