Job Description
You will be joining a leading big4 global professional services firm for their Financial Due Diligence (FDD) practice supporting multinational M&A engagements. The role involves deep financial analysis, assessment of deal risks, and preparation of diligence deliverables such as Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Net Debt analysis, and operational KPI insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute financial due diligence across global buy-side and sell-side mandates.
- Analyze Quality of Earnings (QoE), Net Working Capital (NWC), Net Debt, debt-like items, and core financial statements.
- Review and interpret P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and business performance metrics.
- Prepare databooks, working papers, and diligence reports aligned with global standards.
- Identify red flags, risks, deal breakers, and key value drivers.
- Collaborate with global teams and support client discussions.
- Ensure adherence to methodology, documentation, and risk management guidelines.
Role Expectations by Position:
Consultant (2-3 years):
- Support senior team members across diligence workstreams.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and assist with report drafting.
- Maintain structured documentation and participate in client conversations.
- Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and communication required.
Senior Consultant (5+ years):
- Lead specific FDD modules and independent workstreams.
- Review work of Consultants and Analysts for accuracy and depth.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
- Ensure quality standards, structured planning, and strong analytical rigor.
- Experience guiding or managing small teams is preferred.
Desired Profile:
- CA with 2-7 years of relevant experience.
- Background in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, Valuations, or External Audit.
- Strong financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, and clear communication.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-intensity deal environments.
