Job Description
As a Regional Sales Manager, your role involves setting up and managing effective communication between the regional team and head office to maximize business opportunities. You will be responsible for data analysis and action planning, including analyzing sell-in/sell-out data to identify distribution gaps, threats, and opportunities. You will need to identify gaps in market coverage and collaborate with field sales to address them. Additionally, conducting infrastructure health assessments and implementing corrective actions with RCCM and Region Head will be part of your duties.
Your key responsibilities will include driving and implementing sales capability initiatives to enhance field team effectiveness. You will also support regional sales leadership in capability development and performance enhancement. Partnering with regional leaders to design and pilot rural Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies relevant to regional priorities will be crucial for rural GTM development. Moreover, you will be expected to drive SFA (Sales Force Automation) adoption, resolve related issues, ensure DMS (Distributor Management System) compliance, and establish effective 'Ways of Working' with retail distributors under the Commercial Excellence Initiatives.
Qualifications required for this role include an MBA in General Management or Business Management, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and a minimum of 4+ years of experience, with at least 1 year in customer marketing in the consumer industry. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
