Job Description
You will be responsible for leading a team of sales/wealth professionals and driving business growth in the role of Cluster Head across India. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing cluster-level plans for sales, asset under management (AUM) growth, and market share expansion to achieve targets.
- Recruiting, training, motivating, and mentoring Relationship Managers (RMs) and area heads to ensure effective team leadership.
- Leading efforts for client acquisition of High Net Worth Individuals (HNI) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNI), cross-selling, and managing client relationships.
- Expanding Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) networks (ARN holders) and onboarding new entrants to grow the network.
- Monitoring sales processes, ensuring seamless client service, and aligning with research recommendations to drive sales and service excellence.
- Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory norms, policies, and KYC/compliance standards to maintain compliance in all operations.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience of 7-12+ years in wealth management/investment advisory, with a proven track record in leadership roles managing Relationship Managers (RMs) or advisors.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products (including Mutual Funds, equity, fixed income, alternatives), and regulatory requirements.
- Skills in strategic thinking, business acumen, communication, sales, leadership, and analytics.
- Qualifications such as an MBA or Graduate in Finance; additional certifications like CFP, NISM, CFA, or CA would be preferred.
